Golden

Jackson Hammond is currently working on the brand identity and supporting literature for Stoke-on-Trent’s Sculpture Trail and the tallest piece is being designed and produced by sculptor Wolfgang Buttress. The new piece titled ‘Golden’, will stand an impressive 20m in height and will reference the golden flame from the ironworks which previously lit up the Chatterley Valley in Tunstall. Over 1,000 blown glass prisms will be attached to the piece with each one containing a memory or wish written by members of the local community. Made from corten steel alluding to the areas steel industry, Golden will light up the skyline once again for future generations to admire.
